At Siemon, sustainability isn’t just an initiative—it’s how we operate, how we think, and how we plan for the future.
As a fifth-generation, family-owned company with over 122 years of history, we’ve learned that long-term success requires long-term thinking. Sustainability encompasses financial health, environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance—all working together to ensure our business creates value for people and communities while protecting the planet for future generations.
A Culture of Shared Responsibility
Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations are not confined to a single team or business function at Siemon. They are woven into the fabric of our culture. From leadership decisions to day-to-day operations, sustainability is part of everyone’s job.
This approach ensures accountability, drives measurable outcomes, and supports the credibility of our ESG strategy. Our environmental practices, supplier engagement, and compliance standards are strengthened by a culture that actively supports them.
At Siemon, our people are a core part of our sustainability efforts. Our Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems are certified to ISO 45001 and we are proud to be Certified™ by Great Place To Work in the USA for the third year in a row, with 90% of US-based employees stating it as a great place to work – compared to 57% of employees at typical US-based companies. This certification is a testament to our efforts in creating a supportive, collaborative environment that prioritizes employee well-being and development. While our Great Place to Work certification is US-only, we are equally proud that the 88.2% level of participation and 90.4% “great place to work” responses from employees across all countries were consistent with our US-based workforce
Creating a safe, inclusive, and purpose-driven workplace is essential to our long-term ESG goals. Our culture promotes continuous improvement, shared accountability, and a strong connection to the communities we serve. When our teams feel empowered, trusted and supported, they are better positioned to drive innovation and deliver on our commitments to customers and stakeholders.
At Siemon, we believe sustainability creates long-term value—for our customers, our employees, and the communities where we live and work. That value comes from the ideas, dedication, and actions of our people.
It’s our employees who design solutions that help customers reduce environmental impacts. It’s our teams who build strong relationships based on trust and shared commitment to sustainable practices. And it’s our collective culture that ensures we’re always prepared to adapt and thrive in a changing world.
We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we know there is much more to do and accomplish on our ESG journey. Because sustainability doesn’t start with policies or reports—it starts with people. At Siemon, everyone can make a difference.
