Siemon’s comprehensive line of high-performance, high-speed cable assemblies for direct attach point-to-point applications in the data center support up to 100 Gig across an array of application environments. Independently tested for interoperability with most major equipment manufacturers, our high-speed assemblies are available in a variety of QSFP28, SFP28, QSFP+, SFP+ form factors, including hybrid breakouts and active optical cables. Our cables are competitively priced, available in various lengths, including many 1/2 meter increments and color options, and are all backed by Siemon’s superior technical service and support. Siemon high-speed cable assemblies are MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) compliant to ensure compatibility across equipment from various vendors.

100G QSFP28

Supporting speeds up to 100 Gb/s, Siemon’s QSFP28 cables exceed 100G Ethernet specifications (100G-BASE-CR4). These cables are designed for high-density applications, offering a cost-effective, low-power option for high-speed data center interconnects.

  • Shares the same mating interface with QSFP+ (SFF-8436) form factors, making it backward compatible with existing QSFP+ ports

QSFP+ copper cable assemblies were developed for high-density applications, offering a cost-effective, low-power option for high-speed data center interconnects. Available in multiple colors, lengths and gauges, the QSFP+ form factor (Quad SFP+) can replace up to four standard SFP+ connections, providing greater density and reduced system cost.

  • Supports emerging 40 Gb/s applications and is available in standard lengths up to 5 meters with longer custom lengths available
  • Fully-shielded assemblies combine twin-axial shielded cable configuration with robust die-cast housings for enhanced support of high-frequency data rates
  • Over molding on the PCB level provide additional strain relief

  • Support data transfer rates up to 10+ Gb/s per lane, meeting or exceeding current standards specifications
  • Active cables use signal processing within the connector backshells to extend the length that copper cables can reach beyond the limits of passive copper solutions
