As a family-owned company, “our word is our bond”, and as an organization we take pride in the way that we approach all our operations and business interactions. Over our 120-year history, Siemon has developed a reputation for quality and excellence in everything that we do, and our employees, customers and partners value the honesty, integrity and diligence we bring to our day-to-day activities.
Below are some key examples of our ESG commitments; if you would like to see more details about our ESG roadmap, milestones and progress download our 2023 Siemon ESG Report.
We Bring a Different Mindset
We prioritize credibility and transparency. We value the opinions of third-party accreditations to validate our claims and assure our customers of our unwavering commitment to ESG standards. By undergoing the rigorous process of obtaining third-party accreditation, we stand by our words and aim to provide our customers with the utmost confidence in our ongoing commitment to sustainability.
We’re Honest About Our Impact
Improving our energy efficiency and reducing our Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all facets of our global operations is a core focus. All Siemon GHG emissions data is calculated using GHG Protocol guidelines for Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope
3 emission sources, providing you with peace of mind that we “walk the walk”.
Don’t just take our word for it.
As an organization, we recognize the importance of gaining outside perspectives, and the value of benchmarking our ESG systems with other companies. The company we have selected is EcoVadis, a global leader in providing independent assessments of business
sustainability covering environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

Sustainability Through Smart Packaging
We’ve always put a premium on reducing packaging waste related to purchased goods. As a part of our long-term packaging sustainability initiative, we’ve made great strides in reducing the volume and mass of packaging we use, as well as shifting to non-plastic alternatives.

All new Siemon products are designed based on strict “Design for the Environment” guidelines, ensuring that every product is developed to reduce raw material, energy, and consumables used in product manufacturing, ensure material safety and reduce potential pollutants during manufacturing and throughout the product’s lifecycle.
