POSITION PURPOSE:
This position will enhance customer relationships and drive project profitability by enhancing the onboarding process for our North America network of Siemon certified installers. This involves ensuring standardization of Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Material (BOM) for GPS (Global Project Services) customers from the Request for Quote (RFQ) stage to the Quote Submitted stage. Upon client approval of the quote, collaborate with the GPS Coordination team to align project milestones with the SOW. In cases where remote commissioning falls short of expectations, conduct onsite commissioning to generate a comprehensive remediation report for our installers, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and the Siemon cabling system manual.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in installation, estimating, and project management, with a focus on Information Transport Systems (ITS).
- Demonstrated track record of successfully overseeing projects of various scales, valued up to $500k.
- Experience developing standardized documents, facilitating a seamless onboarding process for clients during the Request for Quote (RFQ) stage, ensuring bid leveling and the delivery of high-quality Client Quote proposals.
- Flexibility to travel and maintain an extended work schedule on an as needed basis to support the quality of the SOWs authorized by the client.
- Proficient management of clients’ as-builts to ensure project completion accuracy and project hand-off with all necessary deliverables.
- Eagerness to familiarize oneself with the company’s internal and external resources. Thorough review of the GPS Guidebook, utilizing Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) software tools like Salesforce to manage the entire project lifecycle process.
