Main Aspect of Job

Responsible for the regional Marketing function, providing leadership and direction for the full marketing mix and sales support programmes in support of the Company’s business plan.   A strong focus on conceptualising campaigns which increase lead generation and are fully integrated with the sales team.

 

To provide leadership and development to the regional Marketing team.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Educated to degree level in relevant discipline.
  • CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing preferred; minimum of Diploma in Professional Marketing.
  • Significant general marketing experience in a European/International environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management capacity, with remote management experience preferred
  • Ability to create and put forward structured annual marketing plans that follow the Company’s Global Plan.
  • Proven ability to manage financial budgets.
  • Experience in brand and awareness development programmes.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude.

    Preferred

  • Knowledge of structured cabling or telecommunications industry.

    Skills

  • Proven commercial aptitude.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long term plans that deliver good ROI.
  • Creative with the ability to develop content independently.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels, both internal and external, in a challenging environment.
  • The ability to motivate others.
  • Strong organisation, teamwork and project management skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and negotiate successfully with suppliers.
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.  Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
