Moldmaker

Build high quality molds, maintain revision control on mold designs, perform design and engineering changes. Also repair and maintain tools as assigned according to specified production and quality standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• “MoldMaker” Journeyman certificate
• 10 years experience as a MoldMaker
• Extensive mold repair experience a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Thorough knowledge of mold tool room machinery including: E.D.M., milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and standard toolroom measuring equipment.
• The ability to fully understand mold design, mold construction, and complex mold mechanisms.
• General knowledge of molding machinery.
• Working knowledge of heat treatment methods.
• Use “SURFCAM” to generate 3D cutterpaths
• Program, setup, and operate 3 –axis VMC
