Working as part of the Sales function, this role is focused on proactive telemarketing, lead generation and qualification through outbound telephone calls, e-mails, social networking sites and other business tools to support Sales and Marketing initiatives.

 

The Internal Sales Representative role is designed to help Sales achieve their Balanced Business Plan goals and grow the business by securing new business appointments and prospecting from a wide range of data and utilising tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce and others.

Specific Responsibilities

  1. Work with Sales and Marketing management to generate, qualify, distribute and track new sales leads in line with agreed metrics of warm introductions, booked meetings and pipeline projects.
  2. Utilising all business tools to research targeted accounts, identify key players and prospect End-Users in order to generate interest and book appointments for Sales.
  3. Follow procedures to enter new contact, lead and project information into Salesforce database and liaise with Sales/Marketing teams to keep this data updated and accurate.
  4. Ensure that all leads from our various activities around the region are followed up on or forwarded in a timely manner to the relevant stakeholders.
  5. Support targeted Marketing initiatives to generate new leads through participation in relevant social media platforms (such as LinkedIn) and websites.
  6. Working with Marketing and Sales, take ownership on following up end user focused campaigns with channel partners for effective lead generation and product promotion.
  7. Identify areas to improve process efficiency and make adjustments as needed based on feedback and results.
  8. Provide initial online Company introduction to qualified leads on an ad hoc basis prior to initial contact by Sales.
  9. Managing all inbound requests, including samples, received from the website and designated group email addresses. Where possible make direct contact with leads to determine quality.
  10. Liaise with Marketing and Sales to manage marketing database lists within Pardot, Salesforce.com and other sources to ensure that we are compliant with GDPR and that all lists are kept up to date.
  11. Work with Marketing and Sales leaders to define priorities for campaigns and liaise with Marketing Manager to develop effective plans for successful outbound activity (eg Telemarketing, Targeted Email/Social campaigns), managing activity based on agreed priorities and timescales.
  12. Working with Marketing team to accurately report on ROI for all campaigns that are executed.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

·           Educated to ‘A’ Level standard or equivalent.

·           Previous experience in a fast-paced internal sales role, preferably international and within the IT industry.

Preferred

  • Fluency in either French or German in addition to English.
  • Experience of Salesforce.com.
  • Experience using Pardot or other email marketing tools
  • Relevant Degree in business/commerce.
