VersaPOD: Features and Benefits

The Siemon VersaPOD system's innovative design offers full accessibility from the front and rear of each bayed unit and an array of equipment mounting features to ensure the V-POD's flexibility in any data center configuration.

INNOVATIVE DOOR OPTIONS
Dual hinged front and quad hinged rear doors open from either the left or right and are easily removed. Rear split doors can be hinged open in both directions providing direct access to VPP's.
SLIDING VERTICAL PATCH PANELS
Vertical copper and fiber patch panels conveniently slide forward providing access to the connections at the rear of the panel.These panels support up to 298 ports of copper, 864 ports of fiber or a combination of the two within the 12 Zero-U vertical rack spaces between every two cabinets.
OPTIONAL CABLE MANAGEMENT FINGERS
Vertical 4-inch cable management fingers can be mounted alongside each VPP to facilitate routing of copper or fiber jumpers between patching fields as well as cabinet to cabinet connections.
VERTICAL PATCHING CHANNELS (VPC)
Features an array of integrated cable management options and dual-hinged door to offer a high capacity and concealable pathway for cable routing and slack management.
RECESSED CORNER POSTS
Four recessed corner posts provide unimpeded cabling access across the entire front, rear and sides of multiple bayed units.
FLEXIBLE MOUNTING OPTIONS
CEA 310E Standard mounting rails are adjustable to fit a wide array of network and storage equipment up to 800mm (32 inches) in depth. Multiple keyhole mounting options and cage nuts further extend the ability to customize the V-POD to user requirements.
REMOVABLE SIDE PANELS
For stand alone cabinets or end units, side panels can be removed for full side access.

V-POD'S cable management features are designed to leverage the installation and maintenance benefits of Siemon's pre-terminated copper and fiber trunk cable assemblies and plug and play fiber solutions.
