Carrie Higbie brings 25+ years in the computing and networking industries to Siemon as the Global Network Applications Market Manager. She has extensive background in all aspects of networking and application development as a consultant, project manager, and Fortune 500 executive; and has taught at a university level. She also holds an MBA and MSBA, speaks at industry events, and has frequently published articles and whitepapers globally. Carrie is an expert in TechTarget's Searchnetworking.com, SearchEnterpriseVoice.com and SearchDataCenter.com forums and is on the board of advisors. Valerie Rybinski

Valerie Rybinski holds the position of Global Sales Engineer at The Siemon Company. Valerie received her B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Connecticut, and her expertise is focused in the fields of balanced twisted-pair and fiber optic telecommunications cabling, connecting hardware, and cables. Valerie actively participates in working groups responsible for the development and publication of telecommunications standards such TIA/EIA-568-B and TIA/EIA-568-B.1 (category 6.) She is the chair of the TIA TR-42.7 copper cabling sub-committee; chair of the TIA TR-42.7.1 connecting hardware working group; and TIA TR-42 appointed liaison to IEEE 802.3. In addition, Valerie is a sought after speaker at industry conferences; has authored over 40 technical articles and engineering papers; and also holds a U.S. Patent.
