Siemon's Chris Klauck Appointed BICSI Director

WATERTOWN, CT — Siemon, a global leader in the design and manufacture of network cabling systems and components, is very proud to announce that Christine Klauck, a member of its corporate training team, has been elected as the U.S. North East Region Director of the BICSI (Building Industries Consultant Services International) organization.

In her role as North East Region Director, Chris will represent the issues and concerns of the BICSI membership in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, which includes nearly 3,000 members. Chris will serve a two year term, with a maximum tenure of two terms, beginning at the BICSI Winter Conference in January 2004 in Orlando, FL.

Chris Klauck has been an employee of Siemon since 1994. During her employment at Siemon, Chris has been a valuable member of the Technical Support and Corporate Training departments. Chris has achieved a variety of impressive professional accomplishments including a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, both BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and LAN Specialist certifications, membership on the TIA TR-42 committee, and assists the ISO US TAG. She has been a BICSI member since 1992, reviewed technical content for BICSI's "Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual", been a BICSI speaker at trade shows and regional meetings, and has been involved in more that 12 BICSI conferences.

"Christine will be a great addition to the BICSI Board," says Mel Lesperance, RCDD, Acting Executive Director. "She brings a wide range of telecommunications knowledge and experience to the position. U.S. Northeast Region members are fortunate to have such a dedicated professional as their representative."

Chris Klauck joins three other Siemon employees as active participants in the BICSI organization: Paulo S. Marin, PhD., Brazilian Region Director; Miguel Aldama, recently elected District Chair of BICSI Mexico; and Robert Y. Faber, Vice Chair of the Technical Information and Methods Steering Committee.
