Siemon opens new Training Suite
Siemon have opened a new Training facility at their EMEA headquarters in Chertsey, Surrey.
Designed for demonstration of Siemon's full range of network cabling solutions, the suite will primarily be used for the company's regular Certified Installer training programmes, but will also serve for sales presentations, seminars, meetings and internal training.
"We are running Certified Installer courses almost every month", comments Graeme Stoker, EMEA marketing manager at Siemon. "Using the new suite we can now combine the training with a greater range of hands-on sessions to swiftly help installers, integrators and consultants become familiar with all of our copper and fibre cabling products."
The suite currently features Siemon's new data centre solution VersaPOD which acts as a 'display unit', housing all of the company's most recent product innovations. These include the new category 6A system Z-MAX, a new line of MTP™ Plug and Play fibre cabling solutions as well as the secure RJ45 network connectivity system, LockIT.
Also on display is a working demo of Siemon's brand new Intelligent Infrastructure Management solution MapIT G2. Installers and customers can be shown the simplicity of installation, software configuration and day to day use of the system.
For anyone new to the company, the suite also includes a museum section showing Siemon's 100 years of product innovation and manufacturing legacy.

"We are also encouraging our European channel partners to make use of this new facility should they need present Siemon's newest innovations to their customers," he concludes.
