The Siemon Company Announces Formation of OEM Business Unit
Watertown, CT — The Siemon Company is proud to announce the formation of a new OEM Business Unit led by Randy Below, Vice President of OEM Business. This dedicated business unit will focus on meeting the growing demand from OEM customers for Siemon’s copper and fiber components for use in the telecommunication and other industries.
Mr. Below began his career at The Siemon Company in 1985. In his previous position as Engineering Manager, he helped develop the Siemon Engineering Department into an industry leader in the design and development of advanced copper and fiber telecommunications connectors.
In his new position, Mr. Below is responsible for managing business development of Siemon’s OEM customer and product base. As a company, Siemon has nearly a century of experience as a supplier of high performance OEM connectivity components to the telecommunications industry. “As a result of our success and reputation in the marketplace, we were being approached by more and more OEM customers who wanted to purchase Siemon components” adds Below. “Establishing a dedicated unit to will allow us to better serve the needs of new and existing OEM customers”.
Today, Siemon is known worldwide for their ability to manufacture advanced connectivity components and solutions. “The performance and quality of our products are a direct result of substantial investments in R&D and automated manufacturing capabilities, combined with Siemon’s dedication to technology leadership and product innovation,” says Randy Below. “Being first to market with category 6 and 7 products has helped make Siemon the supplier of choice for many of the world’s largest and most demanding commercial customers.”
