Overview
Siemon PDU mounting brackets allow power distribution units to be mounted on full size VP1 and VP2 VersaPOD cabinets as well as the VersaPOD 4-post rack. The bracket allows most PDUs to be mounted vertically, maximizing cabinet space and data center floor space. PDUs mounted on VersaPODs also reduces the need for long power cords and improves accessibility to power connections.
For additional data center space optimization, use VersaPOD PDU mounting brackets to vertically mount PDUs in bayed VersaPOD VP1 and VP2 cabinets using the Zero-U vertical space between cabinets. Vertically mounted PDUs are also ideal in end of row configurations.
The VersaPOD PDU mounting brackets were developed to support tool-less mounting of vertical rack mount PDU's with 1244mm (49 in.), 1556mm (61.25 in.) or 1645mm (64.75 in.) O.C. mounting buttons. These data center cabinet brackets also feature a number of through holes for use with PDU manufacturer supplied mounting brackets.
Brackets are constructed of 14 gauge (1.90mm/0.0747 in.) cold rolled steel and support PDU's widths up to 65mm (2.56 in.)
