Based on ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1, Commercial Building Telecommunications Standard Part 2: Addendum 1: Transmission Performance Specifications for 4 Pair 100 Ohm category 6 cabling (2002), category 6 delivers double the signal-to-noise margin of category 5e/class D cabling. The cat 6 attenuation-to-crosstalk margin is positive to 200 MHz.
