ACMA Product Labelling Exemption List
On 12 June 2002, the Australian Communications Authority (ACA), now the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), introduced new regulations relating to an alternative compliance arrangement giving suppliers of certain customer cabling and associated customer equipment (collectively, cabling products) an alternative to labelling with the A-Tick compliance label.
Suppliers who are eligible to use the alternative path (and therefore not affix the A-Tick to their product) are required to maintain a publicly available register (on the Internet) listing each of their compliant cabling products individually. Identification of these products rely on unique markings and labels currently applied during the manufacturing or importing process.
The Siemon Company AU is an eligible supplier and has opted to use this alternative compliance arrangement. The following file is a list of Siemon's compliant cabling products which will no longer have the A-Tick affixed:
