The Siemon Company Introduces New Residential Command Centers®

Watertown, CT — The Siemon Company is proud to announce the release of its newly designed residential Command Centers®. These Command Centers®, available in 10-, 20-, and 36-inch models, are the newest product additions to the Siemon Home Cabling SystemSM.

Their new Command Centers® include commercial grade panels that love the residential world. They’re self-contained units, yet still offer configuration flexibility. And, they’re simple to sell because they’re easy to upgrade. They’re great for multi-dwelling units, too.”

The Command Centers® are enclosures designed to house data, voice, and RF distribution panels for the terminating and cross-connecting of various residential communication, entertainment and security services. Home owners can customize these enclosures with the panels that fit their individual needs, according to desired applications and dwelling size. All three Command Centers® are fully compliant with both ANSI/TIA/EIA 570-A Grade 1 and 2 specifications. The enclosures feature an easily removable cover and are designed for mounting between 16 inch on center (O.C.) studs or surface mounting. Solid steel construction protects contents while plastic grommets protect cables entering the enclosures through 2-inch knockouts.

The 10-inch Command Center® provides a cost-effective home cabling solution for smaller residential installations (ex: 11 voice, 6 data, 8 RF). It features nine standard two-inch knockouts for easy cable entry and management, cutouts for a single gang electrical box to supply dedicated 110v for active equipment, a factory installed lock, and lance tabs for easy cable management.

The 20-inch Command Center® is designed for use in mid-sized residential installations (ex: 23 voice, 24 data, 16 RF) where a functional but economical solution is the primary concern. This model features 13 standard two-inch knockouts for easy cable entry, cutouts for a single gang electrical box, lance tabs for easy cable management, and a knockout on the cover for the optional Command Center® Lock Kit.

The 36-inch Command Center® is designed for use in large residential installations (ex: 46 voice, 36 data, 32 RF, 16 CCTV) where a custom solution is the primary concern. It features 13 standard two-inch knockouts for easy cable entry, cutouts for two single gang electrical boxes, lance tabs for easy cable management, and knockout on the cover for the optional Command Center® Lock Kit.
